?? “If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.” – John 15:5 A life rooted in Christ naturally bears fruit — love, kindness, patience, and generosity. But without Him, our efforts fall short. Lent is a time to cultivate a deeper connection with God through prayer, fasting, and reflection. What practices can you adopt this week to strengthen your relationship with Christ? Abide in Him, and trust that He will work through you to impact others. ?? Join us each Sunday this Lent as we reflect on what it means to be a disciple of Christ. Let these scriptures guide your heart as we journey together in faith and mission. #AbideInChrist #BearingFruit #LentGrowth #RootedInFaith #FaithInAction #decadeofdisciplemaking

"Samaneh and her now husband Amir, a #SalvationArmy officer, met in #Sweden ???? and were married here, but they grew up in #Iran ????. In Iran, they both found Jesus and left Islam. Both were forced to flee, each separately. When they came to Sweden, Amir applied for a residence permit in Mora and was allowed to stay because of the risk of #religious #persecution. Samaneh applied for the same reason in Gothenburg and was denied. In all instances. Now Samaneh is to be sent out of Sweden, while Amir is allowed to stay. It is not entirely easy to understand the logic of the authorities' decision." [Translated from Swedish] https://lnkd.in/gTx4TV6D
