On #WorldChildrensDay, we celebrate the rights, dreams, and potential of every child. Our girls sing in celebration of their newfound opportunities, now living in a safe haven from poverty. It’s a powerful reminder that every child deserves the support they need to thrive. Sadly, many children still lack access to basic rights like education, food, and medical care. This is why we do what we do, and we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for supporting our mission and the Sisters of Mary. Together, we’re building a brighter future for children everywhere. #WorldChildrensDay #HopeAndOpportunity #WorldVillagesForChildren #SistersofMary

Today is #WorldStudentsDay, and this year, it’s even more special as we celebrate the anniversary of the opening of our Guatemala daycare! The Sisters and teachers have been providing a nurturing environment where young children between 3-5 years old receive essential early education and care for 20 years.?? From early childhood into young adulthood, we are dedicated to giving children the foundation they need to dream big and achieve their goals.

In August, the Sisters celebrated their 60th anniversary of service to the poor. Recently, the Siisters sat down together to read the heartfelt messages many of our benefactors have sent in celebration of their anniversary, and they were deeply moved by the outpouring of love and appreciation. Thank you for standing with us and for the children we serve. Your words and actions of support are what keep our mission alive.

From hardship to hope- Eva’s journey is one of resilience and triumph. Growing up in poverty, she once worked long hours to support her family. But in 2013, the Sisters of Mary offered her a life-changing opportunity at Girlstown. With dedication, she has since excelled in math and science, winning national awards and representing Honduras internationally. Today, Eva studies at Zamorano Agricultural University on a full scholarship, with dreams of helping her family and bringing food to those in need. She’s a shining example of how education can transform lives. Want to hear more about our graduate stories? Click the link: https://lnkd.in/eX_BdBuf

In September, students across our schools in Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, and Honduras celebrated Independence day, holding parades and festivities that filled the campus with their vibrant national colors. These celebrations not only allow children to express themselves through art, music, and dance, but they foster unity, where strong friendships form among connection through heritage. It's a joy to see the children proudly representing their countries, honoring their past, and stepping into a new light!

Visiting Day is a heartwarming and emotional time for our students and their families. Seeing proud parents reunited with their children, exploring campus, and sharing in their accomplishments is a moment of pure joy. Parents experience firsthand the safe, nurturing environment where their children live, study, and grow, supported by the dedicated Sisters and teachers. For students, it’s an opportunity to share their progress and demonstrate how they’re working toward a brighter future, seizing the opportunities that were often out of reach for their families.

Investing in one child’s future has an exponential effect in the fight against global poverty. Not only do our Boystowns and Girlstowns empower tens-of-thousands of children to go from living in extreme poverty with little control over where their next meal would come from to being self-sufficient, productive members of society, but they also transform these children into forces for good within their communities. Hear the stories of the children whose lives you have helped to change in their own words. Our mission is far from over. Every child deserves the nourishment needed to grow and thrive. For many families living in poverty, access to food is a daily struggle. Hunger and malnutrition are compounded by increased labor and rising food costs, especially for those relying on small-scale farming. We’re not just addressing immediate hunger. Through sustainable gardening programs, we teach students vital skills to grow their own food, nurturing self-sufficiency, lowering food costs and demand, and equip children with sustainable practices that benefit their communities. ? #EndHunger #WorldVillagesforChildren #SistersofMary #Sustainability #WorldFoodDay #FoodforAll

Welcome to our new students in Mexico! This August, 905 girls joined us in Chalco, and 577 boys arrived in Guadalajara, each embarking on a life-changing journey. While this transition can be an emotional time as they leave their families, their resilience and the support of loved ones are truly inspiring. With the Sisters' guidance, these children will grow stronger, find friendships, and build a brighter future. Together, we’re helping them take the first steps toward new opportunities. #WorldVillagesforChildren #NewStudents #SistersofMary #EducationForAll #BrightFuture
