Unlike FTZ, you pay the applicable duty rate in effect at the time of withdrawal and not at the duty rate in effect at the time you place the cargo into bonded storage which is far more beneficial when tariff's become a common problem when importing caroges from other countries into the USA. 3. We can transport the import container under electronically filed PTT [Permit to Transfer] from the Houston Port Terminal to our bonded warehouse. Then your US Customs Broker will need to file what we all refer to as a "Warehouse Entry" which is Form 3461 Entry Type 21. 4. Our fleet of company trucks and Owner Operators are all US Customs bonded carrier eliminating all concern to "find" a US Customs bonded trucker when you need one. 5. HUGE chassis pool on our yard. These are mostly entirely 2022 and 2023 manufactured chassis. These chassis are owned by us and long term leased to us so that every day we never have to worry about Port Terminal chassis availability or waiting in long lines to have one of their chassis 'repaired' so that they will be 'road worthy'. 5.
