In the midst of the debate and conflicting narratives, one thing is clear: these decisions have real consequences for persecuted Christians, displaced families, communities in crisis and the church worldwide. There has been much discourse and many perspectives about the validity of these decisions that muddy the conversation, and ultimately that could get in the way of more support. You’re invited to a critical conversation on March 18, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. EST where we’ll explore: How the U.S. government’s shifting engagement impacts Americans, the persecuted Church and the global Church ? The role of Christians during crisis and how partnerships with the U.S. government have saved lives How foreign assistance functions with U.S. tax funds What the foreign aid pause means for World Relief, faith-based organizations and global humanitarian work The growing displacement crisis and what’s required of us now This free webinar is an opportunity to gain clarity, engage in meaningful dialogue and strategize next steps for bold action. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today! Register Today: https://lnkd.in/eEBV-eTj

A series of recent executive orders issued by our new administration not only significantly impacted those we’re serving here in the U.S. and around the world, but also our ability to serve them. These orders cut off promised federal funding, effective immediately, for?the most basic assistance?for families acutely suffering and in need of food, shelter, medical care and more. This includes many refugee families who we have already welcomed here in our communities. Your generosity is now critical in our ability to provide for these basic needs and life-saving services: https://lnkd.in/gc6QFMHE

??URGENT: 4,000 Refugees we serve in the U.S. are at risk! ?? On Friday, we were notified by the U.S. Department of State that all federally funded activities providing initial resettlement support to nearly 4,000 refugees we’re serving in the U.S. must stop, effective immediately. As a result, we now face a critical gap in funding for the provision of basic needs— including food, shelter, clothing and transportation. Refugee families in our very own communities are at risk of hunger and homelessness. And they need you to bridge the gap. Your donation can keep hope alive for these families. Let’s rally together to make sure our newest neighbors feel supported, not abandoned. ?? Click on the link to donate now: https://bit.ly/3Cfc6BL

URGENT: Help refugees in SoCal who are at risk! On Friday, we were notified by the U.S. Department of State that all federally funded activities providing initial resettlement support to refugees we’re serving in SoCal must stop, effective immediately. As a result, we now face a critical gap in funding for the provision of basic needs — including food, shelter, clothing and transportation. Refugee families in SoCal are at risk of hunger and homelessness. Grant Van Leuven, shares why this work is so important. As a bi-vocational pastor and our new site manager in San Diego, he shares how we need our community to show up for these families in this critical moment. We are committed to continuing to serve these families, but without the federal funds that we were counting on, we need friends, neighbors and faith communities to help bridge the gap. Your donation can keep hope alive for these families. Will you rally together with us to make sure our newest neighbors feel supported, not abandoned?
