关于我们
Founded in 2010 by Chef Jose? Andre?s, World Central Kitchen (WCK) is a nonprofit organization that is first to the frontlines providing fresh meals in response to crises. Applying our model of quick action, leveraging local resources, and adapting in real time, WCK has served more than 400 million nourishing meals around the world. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes with the urgency of now to start cooking and serving meals to people in need. By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of local restaurants, food trucks, or emergency kitchens, WCK serves comforting meals to survivors of disasters quickly and effectively. To support regional economies, WCK prioritizes purchasing local ingredients to cook with or distribute directly to families in need. We know that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis. Learn more at wck.org.

WCK is providing fresh produce, bread, and fish to families in Valencia who are able to cook for themselves. We’ve partnered with local businesses to provide free ingredients to people in need. Sourcing locally is one way we drive our mission—it ensures we provide nourishing food while supporting economic recovery. #ChefsForSpain

Since October 2023, World Central Kitchen has distributed more than 75 million meals in Gaza to families impacted by escalating conflict in the region. Conditions in Gaza have become increasingly unpredictable, and our teams are working to adapt our response to ensure we can continue providing nourishing meals to communities in need. We are honored to earn two Gold Anthem Awards for our efforts in the Middle East: one for our innovative stoves in Gaza, and one for our humanitarian aid to Gaza by air, land, and sea. The seniors WCK is supporting in Ukraine are showing unbelievable levels of strength and resilience. Many seniors are still living in villages once under Russian occupation or heavy bombardment. Their houses are damaged or without basic utilities, but they are often either unable or unwilling to leave their homes behind. WCK teams regularly distribute food kits, hot meals, and clean water to these residents. Our deliveries offer a lifeline; in the process, they offer us inspiration. For the first time in 10 weeks, WCK trucks have been able to travel to deliver desperately needed supplies into northern Gaza. Our long-time partner on the ground, Anera, used these supplies to assemble family-sized food kits that are being distributed to communities of displaced Palestinians from Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun. #ChefsForGaza

Ready for something FRESH? ?? ?? ?? As communities in eastern Spain recover from severe flooding, we're partnering with Valencia’s food bank and 12 local fruit shops to add fresh and nutritious fruits and vegetables to WCK's hot meals. Families receive the produce in sturdy bags that are durable enough to carry through streets that are still inundated with mud. Our scouting team is on the look out for more fruit shop partners as they reopen so that we can continue supporting the economic recovery of the region at the same time as bringing food to the people who need it. Win-win. #ChefsForSpain

If a perfect rotisserie chicken has ever warmed your heart, you will completely understand our #ChefsForSpain. Three of our food trucks are delivering roasted chickens with potatoes to volunteers and people impacted by flooding - in one day, 4,500+ portions of chicken warmed hearts in Paiporta, Picanya and Catarroja. ?? “We came from Jerez and Sevilla in the south of Spain with heavy machinery to help clean the affected cities. We haven’t stopped working for more than 48 hours. This piece of this chicken has helped us to take a break so then we can keep helping people.”

Recovery in Valencia continues - Gema joined our efforts in #Valencia from Puerto de Sagunto, responding to the urgent need for support in the wake of severe flooding. She is one of many working tirelessly to prepare and deliver hot meals to those affected by this crisis. Paella, macaroni, or sandwiches, food is fueling community recovery ??? ???? #ChefsForSpain
