The event was a powerful reminder of the value of international collaboration - in fostering economic and professional ties. As sister cities, our connection transcends borders, fostering mutual respect, cultural exchange, and innovative collaboration in education, sport, and commerce. Here's to many more years of growth and collaboration between two great cities I've had the pleasure of calling home ??????????

This was, hands-down, the best way to start the week! A reception at the German Society welcoming the delegation from our Sister City, Frankfurt, and then an inspiring discussion about equity, inclusivity, and the vital importance of diversity with an incredible group of people. thank you Hayley J. What a great way to start the week—celebrating 10 years of Sisterhood between Philadelphia and Frankfurt, Germany! It was an honor to welcome the delegation from Frankfurt, including their Mayor, Mike Josef and other officials. This celebration, in partnership with The German Society of Pennsylvania, the German-American Chamber, and many others, highlighted the importance of international exchange between the two cities. I was also honored to meet former Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter! Thank you to the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, Stefanie Yeung for the invitation.

Of course our Mayor Cherelle Parker gifted a Lombardi Trophy to honor our Philadelphia Eagles to Mayor Mike Josef of Frankfurt. The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia is proud to continue our +60 year relationship with the City of Philadelphia and Pierre-Olivier Lugez to create positive impact at home through #international connectivity.
