Sharing a clip from the World Academy of Art and Science 7th International Conference on Future Education, of UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Coalition Executive Director, Steven Hartman, speaking on The Summit of the Future as the starting line for efforts that need to be made to deal with the challenges facing the world. Clipped from the special BRIDGES session ‘Learning for Social Transformations, building on the Summit of the Future’, 11 December 2024. The session addressed what needs to be learned and what modalities need to be realised at different societal and governance scales in order to achieve the social transformations affirmed in the Pact as necessary for future generations to inherit a peaceful and flourishing world. This event followed on from the UN side event ‘From Idea to Action & Impact’ which addressed the ways in which the outcomes of the Summit of the Future could be mobilised through coordination across global, regional, national and sub-national networks and organisations. ??
