Entrepreneurship is a valuable experience whether your startup succeeds or fails. In fact, founders whose companies fail still end up better off than peers who never started companies to begin with. A 2022 study from the National Bureau of Economic Research of 30,000 VC-backed founders found that founders of failed VC-backed startups typically obtained jobs about three years more senior and with 5% higher wages than their non-founder peers. Entrepreneurial experience pays off regardless of the outcome. Don't let fear of failure hold you back!
