Let’s learn more about Mike Nathanson, who has spent the last four of his 20-year career in commercial real estate as a Director of Leasing for Workspace Property Trust, overseeing the leasing activities of over 1 million square feet of our South Florida properties.? As someone who grew up in the area, Mike splits his time between our Miramar and Boca Raton offices and is able to live the “closer to home” Workspace promise our tenants experience, himself. With decades of experience in the local market, Mike was drawn to joining Workspace for our strong suburban presence and hands-on reputation. As the Director of Leasing, he prioritizes relationships with brokers and tenants alike, recognizing the enduring value of genuine partnerships. His tenacious nature has been instrumental in further establishing Workspace as the premier choice for companies seeking cost-effective, convenient, and amenity-rich workspaces.? Outside of the office or boardroom, Mike loves spending time with his wife and two young daughters, who keep him the best kind of busy. From day trips to Disney, road and boat excursions spent exploring the islands of Florida or enjoying a pool or beach day close to home, Mike and his family relish their time together soaking up the South Florida sun. Fun fact about Mike - He is a proud University of Florida graduate and past president of the UF Alumni Association who can be found rooting on the Gators any given game day.

Introducing Marisa Verros, Senior Property Manager at Workspace Property Trust, who was one of the first 20 employees at Workspace since our founding in 2015. Now nearing her 9th year with the company, Marisa has worked her way to her current role after starting as a Customer Service Coordinator and Property Management Administrative Assistant in her first job out of college. A native of Horsham, Pennsylvania, Marisa was familiar with the area and interested in a career where she could blend her customer service skills from her days working in hospitality with her passion for business. Now, as a Senior Property Manager, Marisa oversees customer service, building operations, and tenant retention efforts for the 39 buildings in our Horsham portfolio. Marisa credits Workspace's experienced and visionary leadership team for supporting her professional growth and providing invaluable opportunities for development. "Working alongside industry veterans in commercial real estate has been transformative for my career. From the very beginning, I was encouraged to take on as much responsibility as I was willing to handle, whether it was exploring new areas or honing my existing skills. The leadership at Workspace consistently supported my ambitions, allowing me to wear many hats and discover my strengths. My current position represents the culmination of my tenure with Workspace so far, and I look forward to continuing to grow and evolve in the future." Beyond her primary duties, Marisa loves to give back through Workspace's community service efforts, including our annual "Day of Caring." One of the most meaningful volunteer opportunities Marisa has participated in over the years has been shopping for families in need through Mitzvah Circle, a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit organization. When not working or giving back to her community, Marisa can be found at Lake Harmony spending time with her boyfriend, Brendan, and lovable pup, Kane. As a multicultural individual, Marisa loves traveling to visit her father's family in Greece regularly, as well as learning more about her mother's Chinese culture through food and other experiences. When Marisa is close to home, she enjoys staying active by golfing, bowling and playing pickleball. She’s also a dedicated sports fan who loves cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, Sixers and Phillies!
