Today is #IntroduceAGirlToEngineeringDay, a reminder of how important it is to inspire the next generation of builders and problem-solvers. Women make up around 15% of engineers in the U.S., but mentorship, exposure, and opportunities can change that. As a woman-owned firm, WPA understands the value of creating pathways for women in construction and engineering. We are proud to work alongside incredible engineers every day and to support organizations like Tools and Tiaras Inc., which aims to expose, inspire, and mentor young girls in the trades and engineering. By giving girls hands-on experience and the confidence to pursue these careers, they are proving that talent knows no gender. To the young girls exploring engineering, to the mentors who uplift them, and to the women continuing to break barriers—keep going! The future is limitless! ?? ?? #GirlDay2025 #WomenInEngineering #RepresentationMatters

In December, WPA proudly participated in the Manhattan Construction Career & Training Resource Fair hosted by NYC Department of Design and Construction in partnership with Office of the Manhattan Borough President, Mark Levine, U.S. Department of Labor and the NYC Building Trades Council. At the career fair, our team spoke with job seekers, listening to their stories and providing tailored guidance to support their professional journeys. We shared insights about local internship programs, recommended training and certification opportunities, and offered strategies to help participants strengthen their resumes and position themselves for success in their desired fields. ? We also connected with peers and partnering agencies to explore ways to uplift and support individuals in the industry. At WPA, we are deeply committed to fostering growth and recognizing the potential of every individual we meet. We believe that every conversation and resource has the power to transform and positively impact lives. ? Thank you to the DDC and all partnering organizations for hosting such a successful event. WPA is proud to support and nurture talent within the industry, and we remain dedicated to helping both aspiring and seasoned professionals achieve their goals.
