In this week's blog, Dolly shares her reflections on losing her father and how she has navigated this difficult chapter of her life. "Dad has died. After months of following blue lit ambulances to the hospital, retracing the route with grim familiarity through dark streets past childhood ghosts, I know this is the final chapter but somehow expect a different end. The reality is rocky and dizzying, one minute being told he might not make the night, the next being told to make arrangements for his discharge." Yesterday WLC's Louisa Symington-Mills, Anna Richards and Selmin Sevket attended this fantastic event and we are excited to have been shortlisted for Wellbeing Service Provider of the Year ??. We're looking forward to the awards in June! Thank you to Gallup for hosting this fab event. #InsideOutAwards #Wellbeing #WellbeingProvider #EmployeeBenefit
International Keynote Speaker | TEDx Speaker ?? | Mental Health Campaigner | Facilitator | Founder of FormScore ? | Founder of the InsideOut LeaderBoard ?
Yesterday was a fun afternoon where Chris Cummings and I unveiled the 2025 InsideOut Awards Shortlist, kindly hosted by Cristina Man and the team at Gallup. Thank you to Gallup for hosting, our Shortlist event sponsor, TELUS Health and our awards sponsors BAE Systems, MHFA England?, The Financial Times, Wellbeing at Work World, FormScore. It was great to see so many friendly faces but also meet a number of new wellbeing warriors who entered the awards for the first time. Full shortlist announcement to follow. Cristina also shared some of Gallup's awesome data: ?? Employee sense of care has dropped to pre-pandemic levels, yet ?? When employees strongly believe their orgs care about them they are 4.5x more engages, 7x likely to recommend their org as a great place to work and 73% feel less likely to feel burned out at work ?? Employee engagement is a significant factor in overall life experience with being actively disengaged having a much bigger effect than being unemployed ?? Leaders have a huge impact on overall life satisfaction of employees with Hope, Trust and Stability contributing highly to creating a culture where employees thrive. Congrats to all of our shortlisted entries and thank you for all you do. This data tells me that there is still much to do but a great opportunity for those employers who truly get on the wellbeing bus. #WorkplaceWellbeing #MentalHealth #InsideOutAwards
