Witherspoon Brajcich McPhee, PLLC, is excited to announce that attorney Jon Burtard joined our team on May 13, 2024, after completing a judicial clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Before returning to Spokane, he practiced civil litigation and appeals for five years in Western Colorado and clerked in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Jon's professional and personal qualities make him an exceptional addition to our firm.

The citizens of Spokane will soon have access to 54 new units of affordable housing intended for families. Deanna joined Witherspoon Brajcich McPhee PLLC in May 2018 to focus on civil litigation and appellate work.?Deanna’s passion is litigation, especially in the field of trust and estate administration, and she provides straightforward and compassionate advice to clients, while providing them comfort in what often can be a sensitive situation. ? Since joining Witherspoon Brajcich McPhee, PLLC, Deanna has established herself outside the courtroom also. She was elected to serve on the Board for the Spokane County Chapter of the Washington Women Lawyers and, in that capacity, served as the State Liaison to the Washington Women Lawyers, representing the Spokane County Chapter at State Board meetings, and more recently serves as President of the Spokane County Chapter of the Washington Women’s Lawyers. ?She served on the Board of Trustees for the Spokane County Young Lawyers Division (“YLD”) starting in 2018 and was elected by her YLD peers to serve as President-Elect for the 2020-2021 service year and President for the 2021-2022 service year.
