For-purpose consultant. Bringing Design & Systems Thinking together to solve complex problems so you can do more of what you love: helping people.
To all my friends who work in nonprofits with complex scheduling needs (like shelters, day centers, especially those that operate 24/7) - you NEED to check out Workforce.com, your future self will thank you. I've seen a lot of demos for scheduling apps, but I was blown away by the ease of use, simplicity, and seamless user experience that the Workforce app/platform had. I absolutely wish I had this when I was coordinating scheduling for a medical respite shelter. Heck, I wish I had this when I was an hourly employee working with adults with disabilities. One feature I've never seen in another platform is the wages gained or lost. When an employee elects to give up a shift, before they do, it shows an approximation of the wages they will lose. When a shift is vacant and an employee clicks on the shift to view it, it shows the estimated wages gained if they take the shift. Both of these help disincentivize and incentivize the behavior, respectively. You can schedule a demo with Joseph Cuellar at this link here. I found him to be very helpful in talking through what the software could do for various staffing needs. https://lnkd.in/g8BjA9Tf #nonprofittechnology #techsolutions #nonprofitstaffing #nonprofitscheduling
