Employers are investing heavily in upskilling, but are these efforts hitting the mark? Research from Strategic Education, Inc's third annual Workforce Survey shows that while 74% of employees receive upskilling opportunities from their employer, half are worried about gaining skills needed to advance their career. In Joe Schaefer's recent Fast Company article, he explores three critical questions organizations should ask to elevate their upskilling programs and better serve their workforce: - What skills will your organization need in 5-10 years? - Do employees know what skills they need to advance? - Are current upskilling programs working for employees?
