We assist employers in addressing workforce challenges and area residents in developing skills for the jobs of today and tomorrow. Our services cover business solutions for employers, jobs and training for individuals, child care scholarships and assistance to providers, and career education for students. Because we are indirectly supported through state and federal tax dollars, we invest those dollars in our region to provide services at no cost to you. Workforce Solutions is locally operated and governed, but we are part of the statewide Texas Workforce Solutions network, which is a part of the Texas Workforce Commission. As a network partner, we support WorkInTexas.com, the largest job-matching database in Texas. We operate 5 workforce centers located in Abilene, Brownwood, Eastland, Sweetwater, and Snyder to help residents get a job, keep a job, or get a better job by offering job matching, career counseling, and financial aid services. By partnering with economic development, business, education, civic organizations, and community leaders we are able to create strategies and solutions that promote economic vitality for the region. ?? Manufacturing Challenge 2025 ?? Today, Workforce Solutions, alongside RAM Inc., Collegiate Edu-Nation, and Region 14, had the privilege of serving as judges for the Manufacturing Challenge. High school students showcased their creativity and technical skills by designing and 3D printing specialized tools for assembling a new product. It was inspiring to see these students put their designs to the test and present their work with confidence. Congratulations to all participants, and a special shoutout to the top three teams! ??
