Key Responsibilities: Review and process medical bills in accordance with national coding guidelines and WSI policies. Verify that medical documentation supports billed charges and compensable injuries. Ensure compliance with prior authorization requirements. Apply WSI fee schedules and contracted rates accurately. Process adjustments and reconsideration requests as needed. Identify and report suspected fraud or abuse. Maintain policies and stay current with medical coding updates. Qualifications: Associate degree in a health-related field and two years of experience in medical claims processing, auditing, or coding, or equivalent experience.
