Candice Daniels originally came to WorkFaith in 2018. She had become homeless due to a series of difficult life events that led to drug addiction. While in recovery, she found shelter at the Star of Hope. After graduating from the program, she was inspired by the support and resources she received at WorkFaith and set her sights on becoming a nurse. Determined to become a certified nurse, she worked closely with her WorkFaith coach, Lois Jackson, to navigate negativity and pursue her nursing degree. On September 5, 2024, Candice excitedly shared that she secured a job at The Methodist Hospital in San Antonio as a Registered Nurse.
