The new Goode Works on Paper Center at the Chrysler Museum of Art makes nearly 10,000 photographs, drawings and prints more accessible than ever. We designed the 2,100-square-foot space to blend preservation, scholarship and public engagement, allowing visitors, researchers, and artists to explore the collection in a dedicated study room. With state-of-the-art storage, security, and visibility, the center ensures these works remain a resource for generations to come. #museumdesign #artpreservation

The new Perry Glass Studio expansion and renovation is nearing completion and the press has started to take notice of the new structure alongside the Chrysler Museum of Art’s main building. The latest report comes from Lauren Martinez at WAVY-TV 10, who takes viewers inside the new expansion and speaks with architect Robert Crawshaw about the project’s unique design.

Glass art is naturally the focus at the Chrysler Museum of Art’s new Perry Glass Studio, but there is another story beneath the surface. Katherine Hafner at WHRO Public Media spoke with project architect Robert Crawshaw about the innovative flood-mitigation strategies he designed to safeguard the new expansion while supporting the Museum’s legacy of creativity and community engagement.
