Do you have an AI policy? Do you even need an AI Policy? It’s currently up to each organization how they want to navigate this territory - but as ethical questions about AI continue to mount, and the proliferation of AI tools becomes more prevalent - it makes sense to give it some thought. If you decide you do need a policy, consider all the ways that AI technology may intersect with your specific work. Some considerations for policy provisions might include: -Privacy considerations around using AI note taking or summarizing software for emails, meetings, or other gatherings -Which AI tools might be active on software and possibly accessing private information about your organization or clients -Using generative AI to create work product -Use cases where AI can positively impact workflow -Impact of removing human decision making from certain processes
