Also shoutout to the juice at the Wynn Resorts, wish I could bottle that up and drink it every morning ??

    We’re still buzzing from Day 2 of Transform! Our team loved the "What Every Manager Needs" session, which shed a light on trust and the true weight managers carry today. Here’s what we learned: ?? HR can AND should play a critical role in simplifying managerial responsibilities and creating space for managers to share and learn from others. ?? Data shows employees feel more untrusting of institutions and leadership than ever before. Managers are the bridge to rebuild that trust—making individuals feel valued and like they truly belong. ?? Our favorite hot take? Not everyone is cut out to be a manager—and that’s okay. It's not just about building trust between managers and their teams; it's also about giving managers room to thrive—or an off-ramp from management without penalty. HR should empower managers to explore other roles if that’s where they’ll excel. Thank you to Hebba Youssef, Erin L. Thomas, PhD, Jensen Harris and Rocki Howard for their open and honest dialogue around such hot button HR topics ??

First up, one of our favorite sessions yesterday "Unpacking HR's Most Uncomfortable Truths". Key Themes We Loved ?? ?? Breaking the Personal-Professional Divide: For years, we’ve operated under the assumption that personal matters are best left at the office door. But as conveyed during the conference, this dynamic no longer serves businesses—or people. ?? From Job Security to Career Security: For businesses, this message is clear—if companies don’t invest in their team’s future skill sets, employees are less likely to invest in the organization. It’s a reciprocal relationship. ?? Preparing for an AI-Driven Future: This is where HR’s role becomes vital. We have the responsibility to guide and empower employees to focus on durable skills—collaboration, creativity, critical thinking—that AI cannot replace. For executives, the priority should not merely be shareholder value or cost-saving through automation, but instead, re-investing those saved resources into growth areas that drive lasting value for both their employees and the company. The ideas discussed at the conference underscored one major theme—HR isn’t just a function; it’s a strategic pillar of modern business. Our role as HR professionals is to bring these truths to the table. The question for all of us now is this: Are we prepared to lead this change, and are we prepared to help others do the same?
