Indian Motorcycle Company Challenger Dark Horse vs Harley-Davidson Motor Company Road Glide - Battle for bagging rights! In Summary: In terms of performance, comfort and even (arguably…) looks the Challenger is a better motorcycle than the Road Glide… especially if you plan on regularly taking a pillion. It is just more refined and with far fewer of the annoying old-school clunks. The Indian is a bagger that feels built for modern life. Yes, its TFT dash is less impressive than the Harley’s but overall it’s a more polished product. But there’s a battle of head and heart here. Woods Indian Motorcycle in the City of New Braunfels, TX - February 2024 warehouse expansion update!
Since the time we purchased Woods Cycle Country in 2006, it felt like we have almost always had some construction project going on. We started out with 16,000 square feet under roof, and now we are just shy of 60,000 square feet, and a bigger lot to boot. In an effort to be consistent, welcome to our next project. Another acre of land, and a brand new 15,000 square foot warehouse. The slab was just poured, and the walls will begin to be erected before month end. There's always cool things going on at Woods. This is going to be a really cool project because it is going to impact almost every part of operation, and we will wind up with the largest powersports service department in Central TX. The current WC3 building will be fully devoted to taking care of the needs of our customers. The vehicles keep getting bigger, and we are doing the same. Even Woods Indian Motorcycle will benefit as we look at new ways to feed the local motorcycle scene! It's going to be a lot of work, and for the next couple of years it will be a major distraction, but in the end it will be worth it. I'm appreciative for everyone who has supported us since 2006, and I'm stoked about what more the future will bring.
