This holiday season, we are proud to give back to our community! On Friday, November 22, Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP continued spreading the joy and made its second holiday donation of 2024 to the Friends and Foundation of the Rochester Public Library. Supporting organizations that enrich our community is at the heart of our mission each holiday season, and we are delighted to contribute to such an impactful cause. Steve Suozzi of our Business & Tax Department presented the check to Donna Borgus, Executive Director of the Foundation.

Each year in lieu of gifts, Woods Oviatt makes donations to local not-for-profit organizations. This year, we have selected organizations in Rochester, Buffalo, and Albany—the communities where our offices are located. On November 21, we proudly kicked off this year's annual holiday donations by delivering the first check to the dedicated team at Restore Sexual Assault Services. This contribution reflects our commitment to supporting their vital work in providing care and resources to survivors in our community.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our beloved partner, Mr. Beryl Nusbaum passed away peacefully Saturday evening. The firm's offices will be closed on Monday 11/18 to honor Beryl and his contributions of over a half a century. This will also allow our Woods Oviatt family to attend his services.
