This cherished family lake house, rich with sentimental value, was ready for a fresh update. When it came time to renovate their lake house, they enlisted the help of Becky Charton, owner of Table Setters, and Andi Stephens, owner of @kitchendistributors, to create a design that ensured the home remains a family legacy. Working side-by-side with his son, the homeowner created hand-hewed beams and crafted custom trim, adding special details that will make the home a warm, welcoming space for future generations. This contemporary show piece kitchen maximizes functionality, but at no expense to the wow factor. Focusing on a luxurious color scheme of black, brown and white, the cabinetry consists of Vanguard Plus Matte Weathered Taupe on rough sawn euro oak veneer, providing a natural architectural detail, and a high gloss Nordic White on Vista MDF along the cooking wall. Designer Rachel Logue from Rachel Eve Design completed this space with touches like textured hardware and disc-shaped pendants. This tuxedo-themed butler’s pantry and wine bar was created by removing an existing wall and closet, creating an entertaining space dressed-to-impress. Tile was installed behind black Vanguard Stainless Steel framed glass doors along with integrated cabinet lighting to allow the tile to peek through.
