"What if I told you we can turn wood into gasoline that works with existing cars?" ?? Watch the full video ?? https://lnkd.in/gcHg6-YB #keystonemerge #circulareconomy #sustainbletransportation
关于我们
Woodland BIO’s vision is to create local circular supply chains for carbon-neutral drop-in liquid fuels. The pilot plant is designed to convert dirty wood chips, made from low-grade materials, into gasoline that is chemically identical to existing fossil fuel sources, meaning that it will work with our current vehicles and infrastructure. This approach will allow us to immediately start reducing carbon impact from transportation, without the need for environmentally and financially costly switches to modes of transportation and distribution. The scale of the initial Woodland BIO system was calculated to be able to undercut the existing price of fossil fuel gasoline. In other words: Woodland BIO gasoline will cost less than current gasoline at the pump, and customers will save money by switching to this locally sourced and sustainable option.

What a wonderful day to inaugurate the new trailhead connecting Mainstreet Wellsboro to the Pine Creek Rail Trail! ??♂? ?? ?? Congratulations and thank you to Commissioners Marc Rice, Sam VanLoon, Shane Nickerson, Representative Clint Owlett, and Senator Gene Yaw for completing the project ahead of schedule and under budget! ?? ?? This exceptional project connects Wellsboro to over 65 miles of hiking and biking through some of Pennsylvania's most naturally beautiful regions covered by the?Pine Creek Rail Trail. It will help to strengthen the community's health and economy all at once, providing easy access to the outdoors for locals, and bringing visitors from the trail into Wellsboro's thriving Mainstreet. Thank you also to the teams at Develop Tioga, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) who did a lot of the groundwork to plan and execute the trail. The kind of community and can-do attitude that was on full display at the ceremony yesterday is exactly why Woodland BIO is proud and excited to build our first biomass-to-gasoline facility in Tioga County.

Today, on World ICE Day, we celebrate the incredible contributions that Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) have made to our society. From enabling personal mobility to supporting emergency services, ICE engines have been pivotal in improving our quality of life ?? ?? However, the challenge we face today is not the ICE engines themselves, but the fossil fuels they rely on. At Woodland BIO, we believe in the potential of ICE engines to continue driving progress without compromising our environment. The key lies in transitioning to sustainable vehicle fuels ? Our innovative approach at Woodland BIO focuses on producing gasoline from renewable sources, such as low-grade woody biomass ?? ?? ?? This sustainable fuel is chemically identical to traditional gasoline, meaning it can be used with existing vehicles and infrastructure without any modifications. By using renewable carbon sources, we can eventually reach carbon neutral transportation. Learn more about Woodland BIO gasoline here ?? https://lnkd.in/gFs2NP29 Renewable fuels like Woodland BIO gasoline offer a promising solution to the environmental challenges posed by fossil fuels. They allow us to harness the efficiency and reliability of ICE engines while moving towards a more sustainable future. As we celebrate World ICE Day, let’s recognize the importance of innovation in fuel production and the role it plays in creating a more positive future. Happy #WorldICEDay! #sustainability #ciruclareconomies
