Since announcing our ?? $50,000 award ?? in the first stage of the Pennsylvania Agriculture Innovation Grant last week, we've received numerous inquiries about how this transformative program works ?? The PA Agriculture Innovation Grant supports agricultural businesses in adopting cutting-edge technologies and conservation practices. Here's how the grant phases unfold: 1???Innovation Planning Project Grant: Provides between $7,500 and $50,000 for developing strategic plans to enhance agricultural practices and technologies. 2?? Onsite Project Grant: This grant offers between $5,000 and $200,000 to implement innovative practices directly on farms or properties. 3?? Regional Impact Project Grant: This award ranges between $100,000 and $2 million for projects with regional impact that benefit multiple businesses or cooperative associations. Woodland BIO is eager to progress through these stages, using each phase to develop and build the Tioga County biomass-to-gasoline facility. One of the great things about the farm show is getting to meet in-person with people that we have been working with virtually for months ?? For example meeting with Michael Roth in person, the PA Department of Agriculture's Director of Conservation and Innovation. It was great to discuss our shared mission to innovate and elevate agriculture in Pennsylvania while surrounded by the sounds and smells of PA agriculture at work at the #PAFarmShow ?? Our conversation focused on the exciting potential of our biomass-to-gasoline facility in Tioga, PA, and how it aligns with the state's goals for sustainable agriculture and energy.
