Our Chair, Michelle Crim, CFRE Crim welcomed Jarred Howard, CEO and Visionary of the National Juneteenth Museum. We learned some Fort Worth history about the historic South Side neighborhood and that the National Juneteenth Museum will break ground here in Fort Worth soon! We all caught some of Jarred's excitement and passion for history and community in his engaging presentation and Q &A. After some member inquiry about his own history, he shared his family has been in Cowtown for six generations including family who were the first black property owners in Fort Worth! Happy Juneteenth everyone!
