Was so fortunate to attend the WE Brunch Indy last weekend with these two incredible leaders. Celeste E. and DeeAndria Hampton bring the smarts, the joy and laughter, and fierce commitment to Coburn Place Safe Haven each day. Thanks for making sure we could attend, Doneisha Posey!

The energy from Sunday’s WE Brunch Indy is still pulsing through me! ? We didn’t just gather—we activated something powerful. Women on the Frontlines was more than a theme; it was a call to action. In a moment where equity is being challenged, we stood together, reaffirming our commitment to lifting each other up. The power of women in that room? Undeniable. ?? 92% of attendees expanded their networks. ?? 97% found the conversations deeply relevant to their lives. ?? 70% were Women of Color—proof that intentional inclusivity matters. ?? We had women ranging in age from 5 to 55+—a true multigenerational movement. This is what happens when we invest in each other. When we amplify voices. When we create spaces where connection and empowerment fuel real change. A huge thank you to our powerhouse panelists: ?? Gina Miller of Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP) ?? Yecenia Tostado of Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust ?? Sierra Nuckols of Community Food Box Project And to our Justice Level Sponsors: ?? KeyBank ?? Women's Fund of Central Indiana Indiana’s women and girls deserve a future shaped by education, advocacy, and collective action. Let’s rise together. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gcqmYuvC. ?? Missed this one? We’ve got you. October 12th, we return with: ?? WE Brunch: Women Dominating Male Fields—a bold, unfiltered conversation with women who are breaking barriers and reshaping industries. The movement continues. Be in the room. Join us. → www.webrunchindy.com #WomenOnTheFrontlines #WomenEmpowerment #EquityInAction #WEBrunchIndy

Gina Miller, INHP president and CEO, participated in a panel focused on empowering women at the recent WE Brunch Indy event. For Gina and other INHP staff, the brunch was a wonderful opportunity to engage in impactful conversations about propelling women in all facets of life. Thank you to everyone who attended and participated, and to WE Brunch Indy for hosting such a meaningful – and fun – event that is helping to create a lasting impact in our communities!

This past weekend, I attended my first WE Brunch Indy, and was reminded of the immense value in connecting with and uplifting one another. It was truly a rewarding experience at the WE Brunch Indy founded by Amanda L. Bonilla and Doneisha Posey. The event brought together women focused on addressing critical issues in our community, with powerful insights from speakers including Gina Miller from Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership, Sierra Nuckols from Community Food Access Coalition, and Yecenia Tostado. Though women represent 51.4% of Indiana's population, we still lack equal representation. Thankfully, passionate women in our city are working daily to change this reality. Here is The State of Women in Indiana report by the Women's Fund of Central Indiana. This report paints a picture of what it's like to be a woman in Central Indiana, including regional and statewide data on health, wellbeing, and safety of women. You can download the report here - https://lnkd.in/e737GAWK Your involvement matters! How can your specific talents help support these important causes? It was great to see again Marquisha Bridgeman, MSL, Sherry Mukasa Matemachani, CHES, CWP, Marcela Montero, Stephanie James, Beth Correll, CFP?, CDFA?, CRPS?, Sonal Sheth Zawahri, Melba Salmon, Alia Crawford, and meet Lauren (Petersen) James, Kenzie Anders, GBDS, Erika Davis, Aisha Cargile, MBA, CSSGB, Shala D. Jones, and many others! Thank you, Moja Harmon, for sharing a ride! Looking for the next event? Save the date- October 12, 2025! #WomenEmpowerment #CommunityAdvocacy #GenderEquity #Indianapolis #WEBrunch

What are we (as women) not doing? ?? We’re doing it all! This past weekend, many of us were reminded of the immense value in connecting with and uplifting one another. ???? It’s always such a rewarding experience attending the WE Brunch Indy founded by Amanda L. Bonilla and Doneisha Posey. In Indiana, women make up 51.4% of the population, yet we remain underrepresented. However, many women across our city are actively advocating for gender equity. ?? The call to action is clear—get involved in any way you can. ?? What are your strengths, and how can you support organizations that could benefit from your help? ?? To learn more about the disparities women face in central Indiana, download the "State of Women in Central Indiana" report by the Women's Fund of Central Indiana here: https://lnkd.in/gFeK6QFQ
