Stephanie is a Senior Manager with CBIZ Stinnett and is based in Dallas, Texas. She has more than 14 years of experience providing internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and process improvement services to various oil & gas companies, including independents, majors, and midstream companies. She takes pride in participating in and managing process improvement and compliance engagements for large and small companies. Over her tenure at CBIZ Stinnett she has lead various projects from dedicated acreage to land administration but specializing in operations of gas plants, storage terminals and marine terminals. Prior to joining CBIZ, Stephanie was a Manager in Internal Audit Risk and Compliance Services at KPMG, LLP, and was primarily responsible for managing project budgets, reviewing status reporting with internal management, identifying key risks and supervising the testing and reporting of identified internal controls. She also performed audits related to field measurement, joint interest billing, safety/operations, and other business processes. After eight years, she became a contractor, where she focused on researching, developing, and building relationships with new buyers while developing advanced skills utilizing publicly available mapping system. In addition to serving her clients, she also enjoys training other professionals. She coordinated oil & gas training for new hires covering industry-specific processes, accounting terms, and technical audit testing skills for both SOX compliance and Internal Audit projects. She’s a proud member of WEN North Texas for over 7 years and has been on the board for almost 4 years co-chairing programs and now the local leadership conference.
