National Wear Red Day is Friday, Feb 7th! ?? ?? Imagine a world where no mother, daughter, sister, or friend is lost too soon to the #1 killer of women – cardiovascular disease.?This is what we are fighting for, and your continued support can help make it a reality. As we celebrate American Heart Month, we want to invite everyone to wear red on Friday, February 7, in support of National Wear Red Day. When we wear red, we bring attention to heart disease, the leading cause of death in women. ? For those of you who are in the El Segundo Office, we’ll be taking a company photo at 12pm in the lobby at the AT&T letters, so be sure to join us! We also encourage you to post your own photos on social media using #WearRedDay to help spread awareness. ? Thank you for your support in raising awareness for this important cause! ?? Lead Manager Marketing Communication at AT&T; President of Women of AT&T Southern California Chapter
Today, the Women of AT&T Southern California Chapter, in collaboration with the Stemsational Girls Club Foundation and Mt. San Antonio College, hosted a truly transformative non-traditional Career Day - and I couldn’t be prouder of the inspiration and connections shared. As the Chapter President, it was incredible to see so many bright and motivated students exploring their potential career paths, stepping outside of traditional boundaries, and dreaming big about their futures. We encouraged them to embrace higher education, lifelong learning, and the power of building a strong, supportive community. The energy in the room was electric as our speakers, mentors, and attendees shared their journeys, challenges, and triumphs. It was clear that the students left feeling more confident and empowered to take that next step - whatever that may look like for them. To all who joined us today: thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s continue to support one another, champion higher education, and remind each other that our dreams are achievable when we invest in ourselves and our communities. Together, we can break barriers and pave the way for future generations. #WomenOfATTSoCal #WomenOfATT #CareerDay #Inspiration #Community #LifelongLearning #MtSAC #StemsationalGirls #Mentorship #HigherEducation

Happy New Year and welcome back to work with a fresh start into 2025! As we step into this new year together, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued dedication to our mission and for being part of this incredible community of women committed to making a difference. ? However, this new year has begun on a somber note as we witness with heavy hearts the devastating impact of the Los Angeles County fires. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected—families who have lost loved ones, homes, and cherished memories. During times like these, we are reminded of the strength and resilience that comes from coming together as a community. ? As an organization rooted in support and compassion, let us extend a helping hand to those in need. Whether through donations, volunteering, or simply sharing words of comfort, our collective efforts can make a meaningful impact. For those seeking assistance or looking to support others, here are some resources: ???????AT&T Employee Relief Fund: Assisting AT&T employees and their families affected by natural disasters and emergencies.?Visit employeerelief.att.com ???????American Red Cross:?Providing emergency shelter, food, and aid for displaced individuals.?Visit redcross.org ???????California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund:?Offering financial support to individuals and organizations impacted by fires.?Visit calfund.org ???????California Fire Foundation: Supporting firefighters, their families, and communities affected by fire disasters.?Visit cafirefoundation.org ???????LA County Fire Department: Updates, safety tips, and volunteer opportunities.?Visit fire.lacounty.gov ???????Mental Health Support:?The Disaster Distress Helpline is available 24/7 for emotional support at 1-800-985-5990. ?As we embark on this new year, let us carry forward the spirit of hope, perseverance, and kindness. Together, we can face any challenges ahead and continue creating positive change. ? Thank you for all that you do to uplift one another and our broader community. Here’s to a meaningful and impactful 2025! With gratitude, Maria Ansalmar President - WOA Southern California Chapter
