Reflections on Leadership this #IWD25 For Samara Andrade, MA, leadership is about more than just a title, it’s about courage, empathy, and creating space for all voices to be heard. From her early career in humanitarian and development settings, where senior leadership was often dominated by men, to finding strength in mentorship and allyship, she has seen firsthand the challenges women face in global health. Her journey through the WomenLift Health Leadership program helped her embrace her own leadership style, build lifelong connections, and step into a role where she now supports other women navigating similar obstacles. Samara’s story is a testament to the power of women lifting each other up, creating lasting impact, and shaping a more inclusive future.
