At 34, Brittany Jones faced a significant health challenge when symptoms led to a diagnosis of congestive heart failure. After a week in the hospital, she learned the importance of listening to her body and advocating for her health. With support from family and other women with heart disease, Brittany navigated her recovery and transformed her experience into a message of gratitude. She now focuses on educating others about heart health and empowering women to take charge of their wellness. Brittany's story is a testament to resilience and the strength found in community support. ? Wrapping up an incredible weekend at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions in Chicago! ? Over the past few days, we’ve connected with leading experts, learned about cutting-edge research, and discussed ways to further improve heart health for women across the country. A highlight of the conference was hearing from our very own Celina Gorre, who shared insights on the unique cardiovascular challenges women face and how WomenHeart is making an impact. As the sessions come to a close, we’re energized and ready to apply what we’ve learned to continue advocating for the heart health of women everywhere. Thank you to the AHA for bringing us all together to drive change! ?? #AHA2024 #HeartHealth #WomenHeart #CardiovascularCare #HeartDiseaseAwareness #WomenInHealth
