International Women’s Day! This year’s theme is #accelerateaction ???? As we aim to bring more women into the tech ecosystem, one way to do that is to accelerate action — invite a coworker to a networking event, share a job posting with a friend, mentor a high school student and show her the possibilities in STEM. Small actions accelerate the growth of women in tech. We also want to say thank you! We are grateful for our incredible community driving real change and accelerating action for women in tech. Your support helps build a stronger, more diverse tech ecosystem with lasting economic impact. Let’s continue pushing forward, creating opportunities, and championing more women in STEM. Together, we can keep the momentum going! #AccelerateAction #WomenInTech Chatbooks Cydni Rogers Tetro Kristin Wright Manu Sood Jaswandi Sakpal
?? What an incredible day at SheTech Explorer Day! ?? A HUGE thank you to the amazing volunteers, mentors, companies, and sponsors who made this event possible. But most of all, THANK YOU to the 3,000+ high school girls who showed up, explored, and kicked off their STEM journeys! ?????? From hands-on workshops to the Tech Challenge to the Tech Zone, this event wouldn’t happen without the power of community, mentorship, and belief in the future of women in tech. The energy, the support, the inspiration—it was all there. We had a BLAST and can’t wait for next year! ???? #SheTech #GirlsInSTEM #FutureTechLeaders
We are heartbroken with the loss of Jeffrey Tolk. We love President Astrid S. Tuminez and Jeff. When you build community you get the great honor of working closely with incredible people. Jeff was one of those, he had so many great qualities and one that we watched often was his unwavering support of his family, UVU and President. We simply love his quiet strength and support, he truly showed what it meant to be a partner and champion. We love you Astrid and your children and our prayers and love are with you. 3,000 Girls. 1 Day. Endless Possibilities. On February 25, 2025, thousands of high school girls will gather at SheTech Explorer Day to dive into the world of STEM. This is more than just an event—it’s a launchpad for the next generation of women in tech. But we can’t do it alone. We need the tech community to step up and get involved. Workshops run for three 35-minute sessions, engaging students in hands-on learning. ? TechZone Booth (9 AM – Noon) Showcase cutting-edge technology and careers with a hands-on booth experience. Engage students with something they can see, touch, and explore. ? Volunteer (7 AM – 1 PM, flexible shifts available) Be the backbone of the event! Help with setup, logistics, and making sure everything runs smoothly. ? Sponsor Support SheTech and invest in the future of women in STEM. Various sponsorship levels are available to help bring this event to life. Every year, mentors and volunteers leave SheTech inspired by the energy, curiosity, and determination of these students.
