Everyone makes a difference! In 2015 Lilly Ledbetter was the keynote speaker at Making a Difference where she shared her story with grace and humor, demonstrating that one woman can make a difference. Her landmark gender pay discrimination suit sparked her namesake legislation, the 2009 Fair Pay Restoration Act.

We heard from one of our grantee organizations and?learned from Jessica Mayo and Magda Karina Carbajal of The Migrant Immigrant and Community Action Project the impact our grants have on their important work to enable immigrant women to have a path to employment.? Today, on Equal Pay Day, we announce the results from our seventh annual Women in the Workplace Scorecard. This year 14 area employers are being honored for excellence in four areas of workplace gender equity - leadership, compensation, flexible work policies, and recruitment and retention. Unlike most "Best Places to Work" reports that rely on employee opinion surveys, the Women in the Workplace Scorecard looks at objective criteria and outcomes. The 2024 Honorees include: ? Small Organizations (less than 50 employees) Operation Food Search St. Louis Area Diaper Bank Arch City Defenders BenefitBump Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt, P.C. Abortion Action ?
