Tonight’s Women's Community Leadership Initiative session on Health & Wellness was ??! We cooked together with the help of Felicia Embry Thelma Lou's Innersoul Food. We dove deep into self-care strategies, mental well-being, and how to stay balanced while leading with purpose facilitated by Jennaya Colóns, PTA, CBIS. We ended with a heart to heart conversation on being a woman of color in a male dominated world with words of wisdom from Stella Hodgkins and Susan. Everyone left feeling inspired and ready to fuel their mind, body, and soul! ?? #WCLI #WellnessJourney #LeadershipInAction

To say I was surprised to win today’s Young Professional of the Year award would be an understatement! I am so humbled and proud of my community for their support and commitment to seeing women like myself grow. I also want to acknowledge the mentors and leaders who have guided me along the way—Donna Nelson and State Representative Dr. Regina English. Your wisdom, encouragement, and challenges have shaped my growth as a professional and a leader. And to my loving spouse, Victoria Lipscomb, and my family—thank you for putting up with me.
