Few days ago, in Skopje, we were part of something truly special. Women on Boards Adria (WOBA) and Finance Talks by EOS Matrix Macedonia successfully organised the "Accelerate your action in Digital Transformation and AI Revolution" conference, and brought together brilliant minds not just to talk about the future, but to actively shape it. We heard from leaders like Alina Timofeeva, a top expert in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, who shared her invaluable expertise on the involvement of women leaders in digitalization processes and the implementation of AI. She reminded us that technology isn't just about code; it's about empowering people. Her insights on digital transformation and AI, especially the role of women in tech, were truly inspiring. She also had the opportunity to engage in an inspiring discussion with the Minister of Digital Transformation of North Macedonia, Mr. Stefan Andonovski. Their discussion put focus on exploring key strategies for advancing the nation’s technological landscape. Minister Andonovski highlighted the importance of ensuring equal opportunities in the digital economy and how artificial intelligence brings more efficient, transparent, and citizen-oriented services. The preceding panel discussions perfectly set the tone for the day! With experts from academia, business, and government, we've had a chance to see a vision for North Macedonia and a region where innovation thrives. The messages from the panels were a powerful reminder that progress isn't a solo act, it's rather a result of symphony of collaboration. Keynotes and panels aside, it was the human element that mattered the most. The energy in the room, the connections forged, the shared passion for a brighter future - that's what will stay with us the longest. Because this event wasn't just about leaders and experts coming together for a simple dialogue, it was about making North Macedonia a leader in the fields of technology and innovation. And with the incredible women and men we had the chance to hear from yesterday, there's no doubt in our minds this is possible. The future ahead of us is very bright. The region is at the crossroad at the moment. In a world moving rapidly towards digital transformation and more common use of artificial intelligence in everyday life, whether we are crossing is no longer optional.
