Hello Community! We are excited to introduce Women of Color in Leadership, a nonprofit organization based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Women of Color in Leadership (WOCL) was founded in January 2024 by Shanelle Hall, who sought to create a community for women who share the unique experience of navigating spaces that often overlook women of color. Shanelle envisioned a space where women could embrace their authentic selves while accessing resources for both personal and professional growth. This vision inspired the birth of WOCL, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowerment, financial education, and mentorship. Our mission is to support the whole woman by fostering connections that promote health and wellness among women of color in leadership. We believe that every woman is a leader—whether in her career, at home, within her family, community, church, or neighborhood. Join us on this journey of collaboration, networking, and sisterhood. We can't wait to welcome you!
