The founders in WOCE's fifth cohort are all phenomenal leaders and change makers in Boston's innovation ecosystem. This time last year Alina Ritter, CBPA invited me along to Women Of Color Entrepreneurs (WOCE) “Start Up Party With A Purpose” where I met Anuradha Yadav and Geoff Mamlet along with so many other fantastic people. The mission is simple. WOCE is focused on helping their entrepreneurs keep their businesses going, and emerge stronger than before. Since that night BDO USA Boston has jumped on board and we now have 23 leaders mentoring 12 of WOCE’s Entrepreneurs monthly. And WOCE has a new Board Member, Mandy Carroll. Last night all came full circle when Anuradha Yadav spoke about the impact a moment can have at these events, refrencing BDO USA and our #impact since. It's been a busy week supporting entrepreneurs, small business owners, clients, and friends! On Monday, David Musen and Michael Cronin, Esq. attended the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce Taste of the Merrimack Valley Food Expo, where local restaurants showcased their culinary talents for attendees. On Wednesday, Kimberly Alley attended the Women Of Color Entrepreneurs (WOCE) Startup Party for a Purpose to celebrate women making Boston and Massachusetts a more inclusive place. We love opportunities to network and learn more about our community organizations, and we look forward to more events throughout the fall!
