Women Moving Millions is a dynamic community catalyzing resources to power the movement for gender equality.
关于我们
Women Moving Millions is a global community of individual philanthropists who have each made a minimum $1 million commitment to advance gender equality. To date, WMM members have collectively committed nearly $1 billion to organizations and initiatives serving women and girls worldwide. By supporting members to leverage their collective voice, influence, and resources, and by creating opportunities to amplify their impact, WMM pursues its mission to catalyze unprecedented resources to build a gender equal world. We do this not just because we believe in gender equality, but because it’s a smarter, more effective way to foster a better future for all.

We're thrilled to share that WMM Member Rachel Foster’s World Without Exploitation is honoring fellow WMM Member Emily Nielsen Jones at its upcoming conference in Washington, DC. A fierce advocate for women and girls impacted by the sex trade, Emily has been a longtime partner in the organization’s mission to end sexual exploitation. It’s inspiring to see WMM members lifting each other up as we work together to power the movement for gender equality. Celebrate Emily and learn more about the June 4–6 conference:

As government funding shrinks, philanthropy leaders gathered at SXSW acknowledged the sector must evolve to meet current challenges, writes Devex EVP & Executive Editor Kate Warren, reflecting on a series of discussions that took place at the Austin event earlier this month. She says funders are rethinking risk, power distribution, and spending pace, while exploring trust-based models that empower communities. It’s an approach long embraced by women, who are poised to control more global wealth than men within a decade and are reshaping the future of funding toward more flexible, impact-focused giving. Our CEO Sarah Haacke Byrd put it succinctly: "If you’re not thinking about aligning your investing dollars with your mission, then you’re leaving a huge social change lever on the sidelines.” Read more of Warren’s Devex piece here:
