??Just dropped a new episode on the Women In STEM Podcast hosted by Kelly Princess Shungu! ?? Ever wondered if coding bootcamps are actually worth it? I chatted with three amazing School Of Code grads who completely changed their careers: ? Brisha Patel went from studying cells in a lab to building software ? Sayed Sais traded biotech research for development ? Oli Kelly flipped the script from recruiting tech talent to becoming the talent We had such an honest conversation about the bootcamp experience - the late nights, the confusion, the breakthroughs, and ultimately, the life-changing results. What I loved most was hearing how each person brought their unique background into coding. It's not about starting from zero - it's about building on who you already are. If you're thinking about making a career change or know someone who is, this episode might be just the push you need. Real stories, no sugar coating. ?? • Trailblazing History of Women in STEM: Mary Anning Today, we celebrate Mary Anning, the self-taught paleontological pioneer who changed our understanding of prehistoric life! ???? While many assume women in STEM is a recent development, Anning was hunting fossils on England's dangerous Jurassic Coast in the early 1800s! Born into poverty, this remarkable scientist discovered the first complete ichthyosaur, plesiosaur, and pterosaur skeletons, revolutionizing our understanding of extinction and ancient marine life. Despite receiving little formal education and facing exclusion from scientific societies because of her gender and social class, her expertise became so renowned that geologists and natural historians traveled from across Europe to consult with her. Anning's groundbreaking discoveries remind us that women have been making crucial scientific contributions long before they were formally recognized for their work! Which overlooked scientific pioneer inspires you? Share their story in the comments! ?? #WomenInSTEM #MaryAnning #Paleontology #FossilHunter #ScientificPioneer #WomenInScience
