Meet Julie Cavanaugh, Vice President of Account Management at ZoomInfo! We asked Julie to share a bit about her sales career and experience at ZoomInfo and here’s what she she said ?? Who has been the most influential woman in your sales career? “In my first sales role, I was incredibly fortunate to work for a company where 85% to 90% of the team were strong, talented women. One woman, in particular, profoundly shaped my career by teaching me how to advocate for myself and, importantly, how to confidently say "no" when necessary. She played a pivotal role in my journey, guiding me after 12.5 years at that organization to take a bold leap, further elevate my career, and ultimately get the recognition—and compensation—I deserved.” What’s one piece of advice you’d give to women just starting their careers in sales? “Focus on building strong relationships and delivering great work—if you do that, you’ll definitely get noticed. Collaboration is everything in sales; success is about how well you work with others as much as what you accomplish. And don’t get hung up on titles. Instead, concentrate on developing the skills that will open doors and shape your career. Those skills, not titles, are what will truly set you apart and land you the opportunities you're aiming for.” What do you love most about ZoomInfo’s sales culture? “What I love most about ZoomInfo’s sales culture is our relentless drive. We are constantly pushing the limits, raising the bar, and embracing a fast-paced environment where growth is always top of mind. And the collaboration here is second to none—we don’t let anyone struggle alone.
