We have read Deena Shakir‘s book “Leena Mo, CEO” about a dozen times in the last couple of days. It’s an objectively great children’s book with a great story about a young female entrepreneur, her team, and the friendly neighborhood investor that backs their invention. Daddy was curious about what terms Miss Irma got on this deal but Mirren was more interested in why the trash Leena hates to take out was so stinky. She’s three, so I can understand why the incredible viral uptake of a consumer hardware product didn’t quite grab her attention. This is the best children’s book written by someone in the startup tech community since Ryan Petersen’s The Big Ship and the Little Digger taught us about global supply chains.
