What I’m OBSESSED With This Week ??… Is Kathy Baird’s personal story and five lessons she has learned “navigating two worlds” as an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and a media executive, currently serving as Chief Communications Officer of The Washington Post. Baird shared them at last year’s Women in Government Relations Conference (where she brought down the house) and I think you’ll be obsessed with them too: 1?? Be a strong communicator and storyteller 2?? Build a personal board of advisors 3?? Walk right into it — “and by ‘it’ I mean fear” 4?? Stay on top of the news to be current and relevant in the spaces you occupy 5?? Make a plan to win Thank you, Kathy, for sharing your story and advice. Celebrating your brilliance today — as we honor Native American Heritage Month this November — and celebrating it all other 11 months of the year, as well! #womeninleadership #womensupportingwomen #representationmatters #dei #mondaymotivation #nativeamericanheritagemonth ______________ ?? ?? “What I’m OBSESSED With This Week” is dedicated to kicking off your Monday by spotlighting the inspiring work of others.
