  • December's FTR is going to BE LIT! Join WID at @millers_and_rossi to make your own 'Holidazzled' Cactus Pal. Local artist and @fruitsofourlabor.co workshop leader Nicoleta Dumville will help us paint our cacti in festive colors then accessorize with tiny scarves, beanies, and holiday lights to complete their holidazzled style! Registration is required - this will sell out so don't delay! Drink specials and snacks will be available for purchase separately. Not feeling very crafty? You can still join us for festive holiday drinks separately in the bar area!

  • Introducing 8x8 Speaker Sierra Voss | Plant Design Sierra Voss has degrees in Environmental Studies and Biology. She spent her early years immersed in biodiversity studies that took her around the world from Sierra Leone to Fiji. She landed in the Environmental Film space helping to create Emmy-Winning films "Chasing Ice" and "Chasing Coral''. This led her down the path of becoming a set designer where she helped design and build over 400 commercial sets. When she emerged from the film world she set out to create a career that merged her love for plants with her creative design background. Root By Design is a female-owned business that provides interior plantscaping & expert plant care. It was created from the belief that biophilic design is an essential element in interior decorating. Plants make people happy, healthy, and productive. That’s why she believes a resilient future includes the integration of nature into built spaces.   • Introducing 8x8 Speaker Kaci Taylor | Architecture Kaci is a licensed architect in California, Colorado, and New Mexico who received her Bachelor's of Arts in Architecture and Community design from the University of San Francisco, and her Master’s of Architecture from Tulane University. She's driven by the desire to create spaces that positively impact people's lives, and designing environments that are made to enhance the wellbeing of others. This passion led to the formation of her own practice, THE5WH, that focuses on creating inclusive and equitable environments through a co-creation design approach. Through her practice, Kaci aims to lead the way to a physically and emotionally healthier world. Her experience ranges from high rise market rate multi-family housing, affordable housing renovations, boutique hotels, breweries, and other community based spaces.?Kaci serves on the board for the Denver Architecture Foundation and Radian.   • Introducing 8x8 Speaker Ashely Stiles | Development As founder and CEO of Tribe Development, Ashley offers more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate along Colorado’s Front Range. Her signature development approach ensures her projects set the standard for function, design and positive interaction in their communities. Ashley is a proud member of the Chickasaw nation who brings a unique voice and distinct perspective to the table. She believes in creating and cultivating community by looking beyond the physical elements of the built environment to consider its greater impact on the people who use it. A graduate of both Colorado State University and the University of Denver, Ashley’s professional expertise includes identifying new market opportunities, guiding entitlement and municipal coordination, design and construction oversight and financial and legal management. Over the course of her career, she has developed more than $1 billion in assets.
