At the event, we dove deep into critical topics including the role of women in sustainability, corporate decarbonisation pathways, policy trends, innovation, sustainable finance, and environmental policies. ? Women In Carbon comes to Mexico! ? A week out, I am still riding on the energy of our inaugural event in Mexico City. ???? What started as a curious thought over a beer with Vittoria Zaniboni ended as an incredible launch with inspiring speakers and an engaged and passionate crowd of women working toward a more sustainable tomorrow. Two of our speakers, Karen Farías Cruzado and Irma Acosta, left us with a message that resonates strongly: "Las mujeres en sostenibilidad hablamos fuerte" - ?????????? ???? ???????????????????????????? ?????????? ????????????.??? At a time when many in the world seem keen to shut down women's voices - in elections, in business, and even more so when it comes to environmental or social topics - this event and its message left me hopeful.
