The Small Business Administration (SBA) has proposed a significant change to the “Rule of Two,” and WIPP needs your feedback. This proposed rule extends the “Rule of Two” to task and delivery orders under multiple-award contracts (MACs), potentially redirecting billions in federal spending to small businesses. For WOSBs, this could mean expanded opportunities but also new challenges in navigating the federal marketplace. The SBA is accepting comments on this proposal through December 24, 2024. At Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), we’re advocating for: - Transparent and equitable implementation of the rule. - Support for subcontractors to ensure they aren’t disadvantaged. - Training and resources to help WOSBs adapt to the changes. Your voice matters. Submit your comments to the SBA to help shape this important policy. Read more about the proposed rule in our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/ggk_Tr6H Need help drafting your comment? Reach out to us at [email protected]. Together, we can ensure WOSBs have a strong presence and fair opportunities in federal contracting.
