This week the U.S Census Bureau released new wage data from 2023, which shows most of the wage gaps for women have grown wider since 2022. The pay disparities are even more severe for most #WomenOfColor. The #WageGap may have grown wider for women, but our resilience has only gotten stronger. Read about some of the new breakdown on pay gaps by race and gender here - https://bit.ly/3XGWte3
“Each year, these numbers show us the persistence of the devastating gender and racial #WageGaps that women continue to face,” said?Deborah J. Vagins, our campaign's director. The 2023 U.S. Census data shows?most?women’s wage gaps have widened, with full-time women earning 83 cents and all women earning 75 cents for every dollar men make.
