The Art of Networking Series Part 3: Networking Success Stories and Overcoming FOMO in Networking. Women Beyond the Table is a community dedicated to accelerating professional success and personal growth. As a virtual network that collaborates with in person event organizers too, we want our members and all women to understand the power of networking, why we do it, how we do it and what we gain from it. Another is how to maximize the potential of connections both professionally and personally and to elevate the experience. To achieve this important goal, we have recorded a 3-part series called The Art of Networking 1,2,3. In the third part of the Women Beyond the Table’s Art of Networking 1,2,3 Series, host Meg King discusses the real-world outcomes of networking with guests Mae Caime and Tammy Cohen. They explore successes, failures, and lessons learned in networking, emphasizing the importance of mindset, choosing the right events, and balancing virtual and in-person networking. The conversation highlights the significance of building trust and community and the need for initiative-taking and proactive engagement in networking efforts. Takeaways Networking is essential to build businesses and relationships. There is no such failure in networking, only learning experiences. Choosing the right networking events is crucial for success. Mindset plays a significant role in networking effectiveness. Virtual networking can be just as valuable as in-person events. Follow-up is key to maximizing networking opportunities. FOMO can negatively impact networking effectiveness. Building trust and community is vital in networking. Networking should focus on serving others, not just selling. Preparation and strategic thinking enhance networking outcomes. "Networking is essential to build businesses." "There is no such failure, only learning experiences." "You have to do your homework before attending events."
