关于我们
Women Aware envisions a society where individuals can live free from violence and injustice. Our mission is to promote the safety and self-sufficiency of individuals and families affected by domestic violence in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Since 1981, Women Aware has experience providing services to survivors of domestic violence. We focus on practical skills while offering intensive case management, including safety planning, counseling, housing assistance, life skills, parenting education, creative arts therapy for children, advocacy, health education and screening, and translation services. Women Aware’s comprehensive programs provide support across the spectrum of client needs—from emergency crisis intervention to long-term efforts toward independent living. We offer services including a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, community education, support groups, and children’s programs. All services are free, confidential, and available to all persons regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender expression, national origin, marital status, and military status.
