Feeling stuck with ChatGPT? Check out these tips from our community member Ashley Gross

AI Strategies to Grow Your Business | Featured in Forbes & MSN

5 Things You May Not Know ... (About ChatGPT) 1. Be Specific in Your Prompts It thrives on clear and specific instructions. If your prompt is vague, the response might be too. ? Example: “Explain Newton’s laws of motion with examples in simple terms.” ? Example: “Tell me about physics.” 2. Use Role-Playing for Contextual Responses Take on roles to provide better answers. For example: “Act as a Chief Technology Officer and explain how you would handle this scenario.” 3. Ask for Step-by-Step Explanations If you want a detailed explanation, explicitly request it: “Explain step by step how to solve this math problem: 3x + 5 = 11.” “Break down the process of writing a good pitch deck for a VC.” 4. Use Iterative Refinement If the response isn’t what you want, refine your question & ask follow-ups: “Expand on this.” “Make this explanation simpler.” “Add examples.” 5. Request Formatting for Better Organization Present answers in structured formats like tables, bullet points, or outlines. “Summarize the pros and cons of renewable energy in a table.” “Create an outline for a blog post on time management.” And this is just scratching the surface? Wow! This weekend I attended my first Women And AI event at Google. Stellar ?? The AI Leadership Workshop started with an all-star panel moderated by Anna Podolskaya (the queen of statistics ?? ). Each speaker offered actionable advice for navigating AI leadership: Hava Maloku, DBA: Don't feel intimidated and keep learning Swagata Ashwani: Turn anything you perceive as a weakness into a strength Brinda Gurusamy: Nobody knows everything--not even the experts Saritha Prasad Vrittamani: Leverage your technical depth to find emerging technology that aligns with your business Next, we broke up into four groups for an in-depth discussion led by one of the panelists, before reconvening to share our collective learnings. This interactive format emphasized collaboration and diverse perspectives—a hallmark of innovation in AI leadership. On a personal note, this was my first visit to Google’s campus, and it didn’t disappoint. Between the inspiring event, the café, and the art installations, it was an experience to remember ? ?? Thank you to Jenny Kay Pollock and Reut Lazo for organizing such a fantastic event! I left with valuable insights, exciting new AI tools, meaningful connections, and a renewed excitement for the future of AI.

??Featured AI Leader: Sara Davison?? We’re excited to present Sara Davison as a Featured AI Leader! Let’s get to know how Sara is using AI. 1. How is AI impacting your work? I'm the owner of an AI agency so I work with AI daily of course.?I have been able to build AI workflows, and systems that really take the friction out of my (& clients) work and enables me to lean into the things that I'm great at and that humans are designed best for. 2. How do you use AI in your daily life? I am a fan of using AI to remove bottle necks and friction vs just adding on and heaping on more tools that create more complexity in businesses and workflows, so my AI tech stack is pretty lean, but pretty powerful. Outside of work I use it for just about everything - researching recipes, creating stories with my 8 year old, you can say I'm truly AI integrated 3. What is your favorite AI tool right now?? Definitely Cassidy.ai - it's model agnostic, I can build my AI workflows, assistants & connect in with my knowledge base (it's built on RAG model) so everything is context specific to my business.?We recommend Cassidy to all our clients. Plus, the team ships fast! 4. What advice do you have for someone who is just getting started with AI? You don't need to subscribe to every AI newsletter, or try every AI tool - using your discernment to choose 2 or 3 different tools or platforms that apply the best to the context of your business, and go deep on those. 5. How can women in AI support each other? Working with these systems daily & applying this technology to my own and other businesses, I see the power & leverage that this technology can provide. I also see that the sooner you adopt the tech and layer it within your business operations the wider the gap there will be between adopters & laggards. I think it's so important to create spaces where women and other groups have access to the education, tooling & support to feel confident & in control of driving forward with this technology today.?I'm not just talking about women enterprise leaders & AI founders - but at every level including SMB. I'm SO FIRED UP about this!

Founder & AI Ethics Advocate | Senior Technical Leader Integrating Business and Technology with a relentless focus on Responsible AI Initiatives

Check out this excellent tool - the Global Vibrancy Tool released by Stanford HAI. https://lnkd.in/gDYPtueR It aggregates 42 indicators across 36 countries organized into 8 pillars. You can customize the weights across the 8 pillars & 42 indicators to evaluate each countries' AI standing. I used default values for all except for Responsible AI which I weighted at a 10, equal to the R&D weight to see what emerges. Here are my findings when I compare the exact same metrics between 2022 & 2023. ???The United States remains the clear leader in both 2022 and 2023, and far leads its closest competitor China. The US has consistently strong performance across all pillars.? ?? China & the UK have retained their 2nd & third places ?? India retains its fourth place both years while showing visible growth in pillars like Economy, Diversity, and Education, signifying its expanding AI ecosystem and focus on inclusivity and workforce development. ?? A shoutout to UAE! It has moved from 12th in 2022 to 5th in 2023. That is a huge jump which seems to be driven by investments in Infrastructure, Policy and Governance, and Responsible AI. The United Arab Emirates has publicly committed to becoming a global leader in AI. ?? Some previously strong performers like Singapore, Spain, Netherlands have declined. Probably due to reduced investments or stagnation and lower growth in certain pillars ?? It is heartening to see many countries showing visible improvements in the?Responsible AI?pillar ?? There is a growing divide between leaders & others. Give this tool a spin, change the weights, toggle on/off pillars etc. and share your perspectives in your comments
