The average size of the entries at our mines are 8 feet tall by 20 feet wide. This allows for mine equipment to move around freely and for full size Dodge trucks to travel in and out of the mine. The average temperature of the mine is 60 degrees all year round!

**POSTION SPOTLIGHT** The Mine Monitor position is essential. Mine Monitors track and dispatch miners to specific troubled areas in a timely and organized manner. Utilizing software, they record and document current mine conditions while monitoring multiple screens. They also observe alarm system alerts and fix meters; they monitor mine phones, lights, and prox pads. Above all, they work diligently to protect miners.
